What You’ll Do:
- Help create and develop a robust pipeline of qualified prospects
- Research target industries, sub-sectors and companies in order to understand their information/research needs and pain-points
- Map companies in order to identify target groups and job functions
- Prospect targets via email and telephone and schedule meetings
- Generate engaging content for meetings with prospects and effectively articulate our value proposition
- Develop a strong knowledge and understanding of the competitive landscape
- Provide client/prospect feedback to sales and management
- Maintain accurate account and pipeline data in Salesforce.com
What You Have:
- Maximum of 1-3-years of relevant sales, business development and/or account management experience
- Bachelor’s degree is a must from a four year university.
- Broad base knowledge of the sales process from lead generation, relationship management to close deal
- Excellent communicator capable of handling high-profile clients (Private Equity, Consulting firms, Hedge Funds, Mutual Funds, and Corporates)
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team atmosphere
- Passion to win and a desire to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
- Initiative and ability to handle increasing responsibility over time
