Overview:
The Senior Recruiter will be responsible for senior level recruiting for a variety of positions which include IT, Finance, HR, Compliance, Research and Analytical roles. The Senior Recruiter will build strong internal client relationships by partnering with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and both define and deliver best practices recruiting. This goal is achieved by demonstrating a deep understanding of all phases of the hiring process. Crucial to success is the development of recruiting plans and performing creative sourcing strategies.
What You’ll Do:
- Work with managers to create job descriptions and post on appropriate job sites
- Create a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position
- Source qualified candidates to help
- Review applicants in order to evaluate if they meet the position requirements
- Independently select candidates to present to the hiring managers
- Direct and manage scheduler/receptionist to follow-up with candidates to schedule phone screens and interviews
- Facilitate and conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and the implementation
- Build networks to source qualified passive candidates
- Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need
- Create contacts within appropriate industries and professional organizations
- Maintain regular contact with possible future candidates
- Keep current by researching current trends in the primary research industry and the job market
- Advise all information regarding interviews and rejections to candidates
What You Have:
- Degree from a 4 year college required
- Previous work experience in the recruiting of senior level professionals
- Required to keep abreast of what is taking place in the practice and understand the industry
- Ability to work autonomously and exhibit a professional demeanor to internal and external clients is required
- Required to have strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple requests from different sources is required
- Required to have very strong organizational and time management skills
- Very strong attention to detail is required
